The Manuka Sports Club | Creative Direction, Videography, Photography
The Manuka Sports Club is a brand that I created alongside a friend of mine Neville Marsh. We created this brand from the ground up including logo, website, look and feel, strategy, clothing etc. Upon launching our first line of clothing, we created an ad to run on the website and on social. This is the advert above, which was directed, shot & edited by myself.
The Manuka Sports Club was borne out of frustration. A frustration that whenever we played golf we always settled for the fact that we would not enjoy wearing the clothes that we had to wear. With the game of golf evolving from a game played by OAPs to one played by all. We wanted to create a brand for the people who could go straight from the course to their sociable lives, without a second thought over their choice of attire.
On this project I was the creative lead, ideating for the advertising, choosing the locations, and directing and shooting the shoots themselves.
I was Videographer & Director for the film above, of which we have made many derivatives of to promote particular products, I was also the Editor this. I was also Photographer for all of the content captured for the brand as well, of which will be found below.
